Egnition key stuck in "ON" position

Yup, took my balt for a quick ride to the store. Upon returning I could not shut the car off. No matter what I tried, shifter, e brake, clutch blah blah blah. I tossed the idea of disconnecting the battery but then I saw that onstar button..... Roadside came to get it in roughly 15 minutes, on a holiday, in the boonies. It is at the dealer now, I am going to pick it up. I have no idea what they fixed. I am however going to carefully go over my car, it only has 5000 miles on it and not a scratch. Wonder what it was. Anyone else experience this?

hm I should see if I can get a new one. Maybe that's part of the reason it's been stalling on me...

Mine got stuck in on today and now the battery is completely dead. Think they will come and tow it to the dealership. I'm not paying for a tow for gm's faulty products.
