Electrical Problem? (Locking and mirror)

Hey guys,

Ever since mid December my car has been acting pretty weird, It unlocks itself while I drive. When I start my car and start going forward it locks itself, however after a certain amount of time (completely random, could be right away or it can go an 20 minutes without doing it) it starts unlocking itself. Doing the *tick* over, and over, and over again and not only does it get annoying but its unsafe. It continues after my car is off, so lets say I leave my car and lock it with my remote, it would unlock itself right away so I must leave my car unlocked often.

I also cant lock or unlock my doors with the lock and unlock buttons on either door panel.

Another issues I'm having is with controlling my mirrors, both of them can go down only, I cant move them up or to the side.

To provide a little history, I changed my radio a few months before that started happening, however I did get the 300 dollar device so i wouldn't get problems. I also went back to the place that install it to check if it was installed correctly and they said there were no problems. I also tried to reset the computer byremoving the black terminal from the battery for several minute however nothing worked.

If anyone had a similar problem or knows a way to fix it without going to a garage because money is pretty tight lately, then it would be tremendous help, thank you.

i would check the switch on the door panel because both the lock and mirror controls are on it. im not sure if they are connected though.

Im having the same exact problem, let me know if you figure it out. I changed my radio as well but it was about 9 months ago so im not sure that is the issue. I think it has something to do with water damage, i leave my windows half down in the rain when i shmokey. Started with just the mirrors only going down. Then one I left my windows cracked and it rained, this is when my locks started having issues.

lol, i know but im trying to figure out if its the controller or the wiring that plugs in to it. How would i check, a volt meter? ***** pissing me off, my friend broke the only key fob that I had for the car so I have to lock the car from the passenger side. Just glad the alarm fixed itself from when I manually unlocked the car the alarm would go off and flash the cautions for a good 15 mins while driving!
