Exclamation Emblem removal... warrentee issue???

Well I have a 2007 cobalt LS. Im considering removing the chevy & "cobalt" emblem badging... Would removal of these badges on the trunk void my warrentee in anyway? GM has some weird policies out there thats always changing everyday.

There should be no way, unless you were to scratch, chip or otherwise damage the paint in the process.

The rule is they "have to" prove whatever modification you made caused the problem.

Now gimme some rep points

There is no way removing the emblems would hurt your warranty at all. The first day I got my car car I removed the dealership decal hate those things.

Slightly off topic but I am so glad we don't have those dealership tags where I live. I would make them take that crap off before I bought the car. I'm not paying you money to drive around as a mobile billboard for your stupid dealership.

I kinda got pissed at the dealership for this. They had to order my car from another dealership and I gave them specific orders not to put the dealership decal on it and they did anyways. It was just a sticker and only took about a min to remove though so no biggy. One thing though that really burnt me up is I live in VA we are suppose to have a front license plate but I planned on risking it and if i ever got pulled over putting one on. The car came from TN and I told them not to put the front license plate on and they did anyways, that really pissed me off.

I can't wait to re-title my car in Alabama (home state..) so I can remove the ugly f*cking front plate and never have to worry about emissions bullshit.

well it could cause less wind resistance so you can drive faster and get the car up to unsafe speeds and damage the suspension ROFL

way back in the day i almost got fired from a CVS pharmacy i was working at for kinda the same sort of thing. i was working in the photo department and one day the manager handed me this big pin on button with a AD on it for some product CVS was pushing, and told me to put it on. i flat out refused, saying "you hired me to develop pictures, not because i am some kind of walking billboard" she said she was gonna wright me up for it and i told her "go right ahead, and from now on when one of these promos come out you can go ahead and wright me up and not bother to try to get me to wear the pin" she gave up after the 3rd or 4th time.

That's probably one of the dumbest stories I've read in quite a while. Nice one!
