Fuel Leak? Part of recall or no?

I found a leak by one of the fuel lines in the engine bay. Its a fuel line (it says fuel on the line) that goes into a box (unknown part) that has a few vacuum lines going to it.

i heard there is a recall for 06 cobalt ss for a fuel leak. I was wondering

1) is this piece part of the recall.

2) what is this piece (Box ) called.

3) will this cause a lean code?

Please respond asap

Thanks

Better picture.

Its the connection at the red circle and the hose at the top.

Looks like it says its a evap purge solenoid.

Would a leak there require replacing the solenoid or the line?

You have a fuel leak from there? That's evap only. If there's fuel coming out of there you severely overfilled your car with gas and filled the carbon canister

IDk if it is a fuel leak. I just said fuel because the line says Fuel on it. There is residue on the line and on that portion of the valve cover.

I'm happy to check and see if there are any open recalls on your Cobalt at this time; please send me a private message here on the forum with the last 8 digits of your VIN.
