Ok i have a 08 LS 2.2 5spd, and my car has done a funky idle thing twice so far. First time i had started it up in the morning to go to work. I put in reverse gave it a lil gas and clutch like normal. rpm maybe 1300-1500 and when i turn around in my drive and let off the gas to go to first the engine suddenly drops to about 400-500 rpm and almost quits and goes back up to about 1000 and it did it for about 10 seconds then it went back up to norm. I thought it might be bad gas(stupid ethanol 10% mix) and cold morning. But the second time it did it i had just stopped at a red light, was just sitting there and was about to push the gas when it started doing it again! Throttled it and it kinda smoothed out but it was tryign to do in when i took of. lasted maybe 10-15 sec then ran fine. Im taking it to the shop to see what might be up with it. Its only got 1500 miles so warranty should cover it. Also when it did it the first time everything in the info screen reset. And what i mean is both trips, avg mpg, avg speed, oil life and all that. Any ideas what the problem is? Like to know if this has happened to anyone else before. btw i live in tennessee gas quality sucks here. Help please in case chevy cant diagnose?
