Going back into the shop...

So I am driving down the road the other night. its two lanes going in each direction, and I am coming towards an intersection where i have the green light, doing about 40mph. Some jackass decides to take a left turn directly in front of me, and when realizes that I am coming straight at his broad side.... stops. Now this all happened when I was probably within 100-150 feet of him. He turned far enough that his car was fully sideways and the nose was into my right lane. I swerve at full speed, completely around the nose of his car and all the sudden I am looking at a telephone pole. So i swerve back away from it to completely miss everything. any of you auto-xer's imagine a bus stop type shape but take it at 40 and only have about 30 feet to cut it 15 feet right and then back to the left. (BTW I am very proud of my car for handling that manuever.... all the handling mods in it have officially paid for themselves. without them the car never woulda handled that move)

Well, I notice now that my front suspension feels weird. Its a little loose, it is noisy, and when making a slow sharp turn (ala pulling into a parking space) I am occasionally getting a clunking noise. Car is going into the shop tomorrow, but I wanted to know if any of you had any ideas.

the only time I have ever heard that noise before was in my old intrepid. After an accident, one of the struts was replaced and the part ended up being defective and would clunk.... it finally had to be replaced.... who knows tho.

Well they found nothing.... and of course cant recreate the noise. He did try and say that solid transmission mounts would void my warranty... but of course we all know better.

oh well...
