ok yesterday my engine light came on and i checked the code and it was 0449. i checked it and this is what it was P0449 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Malfunction. now i deleted it and it didnt come back on for the ride home. but this morning it came back. deleted and came back again. i did check my gas cap and it is good. so does anyone know what else this could be or direct me what to look for. and idea would help me out thanks.

That code is set when the valve is commanded open and not seen opening.
Check the connector for corrosion at the valve or broken wiring.
Worse case scenario you will need a new valve.

 

i was trying to figure out where this is located. is it to the right of the valve cover. just not sure where to look

 

It located on the right side of the engine ,right beside the valve cover.A hose goes in and out of it.

Made a mistake thats the purge solenoid the vent solenoid is located at the back of the car behind the gas tank.You will see a cannister there with the connectors on it.
