headlights... really pissing me off....

Ok I've posted all over looked all over and my question gets lost or not acknowledged.. I'm really getting fed up with this issue. I've checked fuses, replaced multifunctional stalk and still same ****. I'll explain in a nutshell...

When I push the turn signal lever away from me, the low beams turn off and there are no high beams (just the side lights are lit). When i pull the lever towards me, the high beams flash like they are supposed to. I

I would look for a break in the wiring. This is everything I can think of to check fuses, wiring, broken bulb filament and the malfunction stalk, considering that they worked to begin with.

Had a problem with one of the cars at work a Honda and the problem was in the actual turn signal handle you would pull on to put on the high beams, could be the same problem for you

Aftermarket headlights? Try rearranging the cables connector? The 3 wire connector.
I had this issue because the other headlights were set up incorrectly.

stalk was replaced.. I even tore down old one before new one got here... guess that was a mistake

if I push forward they come on, but when the stalk is fully engaged forward they come off.

the car does have HID's that have been in for 2 years with no issues till now. I've heard people telling me BCM related?

^Here if your problem. Check your hid wiring and relays. You likely have corrosion or a bad ground somewhere.
If you want to confirm they are the problem and not the bcm plug in the old headlight pigtail and put in a stock bulb.

Oops just noticed you said they will flash if you pull back on the stalk. I would still test it by trying the original pigtail and lights but it is sounding more like the stalk or bcm now.

Hids not turning on for high beams? High beams blew or a fuse is bad. Best way to check to see if the high beams still work is to plug in an old headlight and see if the light works both ways.

any way of testing the BCM? or doing a diagnostic on it? just seems like there'd be more problems then just lights. Why can it never be simple for me

I would hit the dealer but I don't want an absurd bill thrown at me. I'm sure having them look for whats wrong will costs $$ as well.

Ok, found issue.. something with my HID's. Canabus ballasts, now what the hell could be cause this? I threw a set of stock lights and and pushing forward worked. My ballast crap out? looking for feedback ASAP

just seems odd the lights work fine normal driving and pulling back.. just not pushing forward?

would not running a harness to the battery to the HID's cause this?

Put a HD harness in there lol. If your running9007 bulbs with high beam capability. Then u may be pulling lots of voltage to run them. A harness should do u good either ways.

ripped out all the HID stuff not looking forward to night driving now.

if the ballast are bad that's 2 sets in 2 years I've burnt thru. I tried hooking up old relay I had gotten with first kit from mulrey think that harness was shot just made a loud buzzing noise.

I'd love to get a harness knowing it'd fix my issue, not like I bought a set of crappy HID's

I think I may have a harness. Or can make u a harness from scratch. But its costly.

I'll hit zzp up.. not sure if it took something out in the ballast.. when I get harness I can test ballast again. I have a spare M90 with TB and ZZP DUB system just sitting around collecting dust. I'll shoot for in store credit.
