Help!!! p01182,P0033, p0068 code and limp mode

Hey guys, I'm new to the Cobalt SS crowd and recently my SS has been going into limp mode with a CEL shooting P01182, 0068 and 0033 together! All the sensors have been check and replaced except bypass valve solenoid.

Could a bad bypass valve solenoid causing this reduced engine pwr issue? I"m also getting ridiculously poor gas mileage as well along with some sluggish acceleration.

Also spark plugs and air filter has been replaced too.

Any ideas guys?

You know... You can go home with your sarcasm, buddy. The search function didn't help me get the answer I need as it lead me to more doubts about solutions. No need to post something if it's not going to help anyone

Throttle body was cleaned thoroughly. As stated before, car is bone stock and I pulled the codes which mentions supercharger inlet press sensor malfunction...I think when my friend cleaned up the throttle body and MAF sensor only the p01182 cel is popping up. Should I check the SCIP? That's the sensor on top of the blower right? Do these sensors go bad easily?

Your thread belongs in the problems/ service/ maitenence section for future reference. If you can at all, how much boost are you pulling? Low numbers could mean bad bypass valve.

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum. And it seems that boost can pass close to 10psi easily but then limp mode kicks in

Do you mean bad bypass valve solenoid or the little canister looking valve on the supercharger itself?

Check the scip sensor and clean it with maf sensor cleaner. I was having the exact same issue and I pulled that out gave it a quick spray then it was good. Very annoying problem though I must say. Good luck!

I'm going to try cleaning out the SCIP sensor first... And as for the bypass valve?

I meant solenoid my bad but if you can get up to 10psi I would disregard it.

So I replaced the SCIP but car still going into limp mode... I have a spare bypass valve solenoid. Do I need to replace that too?

the engine power loss is probably do to your map. I had the same problem and replaced it. Now the p0068 and the p1182 are gone and runs fine also check your butterfly valve. Some tech rewired my hose and block it. Hope this helps.
