Really? Where u been lol. Search for lnf injector seal fail

 

So I logged lambda and misfire on the way home on my intercepter. When my car starts to pop my lambda fluctuates from .84-.94 when it's not poping stays at .86-.87 and I get misfire for every pop in cylinder 2 no misfire in any other cylinder. Soooo injector seal?

 

Check your second plug or time to open her up.

 

do an engine health test with leak down and compression test, before anything else my advice

 

im trifecta tuned with a zfr, never had any of these issues.

ALSO, i'm pretty sure my plugs are at stock gap. so.... are you guys saying i should lower it to .028? do you really notice a power difference.

im pretty sure my engine is fine, it ran 100% till I put in the zfr. I wasn't even making as much power as stock with the first zfr tune I had and it was doing this. I did find a huge boost leak on the lower map sensor that I fixed. car doesn't buck as much or backfire as much as it did before. but still does it. I will keep playing. see what I can do. im having the exact same symptoms the guys in the injector seal fail thread were having when they lost a seal. got a few more things to try then ill go at the injectors. engine health test or taking it apart is something id do when all the easy cheap possibilities I can do myself are laid to rest.

 

did do a compression test today, 155 across the board. I guess ill get a leak down test just to get that out the way to.

 

well boys did a valve walnut blast and installed opel injectors and rail and my issue is no more. thanks for all the help
