How to add A/C coolant to 07 2.0?
take it to a shop that has proper equipment.
if you have a refrigerant leak, the oil in the system has also been leaking out.
If you refill the system correctly, the lack of the proper amount of oil can cause excessive wear in the compressor. If you refill the system incorrectly, you can damage the compressor due to too much pressure in the system(overfilled) or not enough oil movement(under filled)
with the "cheap" kits you can purchase at your local advanced/reilly/zone, they aren't as precise or accurate as the AC machines that reputable shops use. With the old R-12 systems, you can be off by .50lbs and still have great cold air. The 'newer' R-134A refrigerant, there is less tolerance in the amount refrigerant you have in the system.
