Hp tuners
Hp tuners
So my car is trifecta tuned it was tuned when I bought it.. But I've been having this boost issue and it's not the purge selanoid nor any boost leaks, I believe it is the tune. The car runs and drives fine for about 30 seconds. Then no boost. Then if Shut it off while driving and turn it back on I get 30 seconds of boost again... Then it goes back into limp mode. I'm thinking it's the tune. Any ideas.. I heard hp tuners is the way to go I'm not a fan of trifecta tune. It's throwing a p0101...
Tested it as in used a boost leak tester and put 24psi on the system? or tested as in checked the connections?
Data logging does not show boost leaks

Tested it as In using a tester put the pvc elbow in the charge pipe and ran air through the whole system several times never heard any leaks. It's weird cause when I start the car I get boost for about 30 seconds then I don't. Then I'll shut it off then I do then after 30 seconds I don't...
Did you try a new maf? Did you run your hand around the connections to feel any air? Sometimes its difficult to hear the difference in air going into the system and air leaking the system.
Yea I know, but what you do is either call or email him, and what you do is he will email you the tune and you rent the tuning cable then load the tune on to your car and return the cable. Its easy. I used to have Trifecta.
This. There is something definitely being missed...
You can always just take it to the dealership since you don't have a scanner. Let them run diagnostics on it and fix what they tell you is wrong with it. If you had a scanner or a tuning software you could see MAF frequencies...and if they aren't changing and you replaced the MAF, then the cable is bad and you have a **** wire some where.

I talked to the guy from wot tuning. He believes it is a Map sensor that Is bad I have gmm1 sensor because of the tune.. Idk what I would do about getting new sensors wouldn't I need a whole new tune?..
No. Check the connection of the map sensors if you have the GMstage1 sensors they have to be either spliced in or a connector is used, replacement sensors can be bought from Crate Engine Depot (vendor on here).
