idle problems, and crackling noise around super

this problems has started about a week ago ive delt with with it for awhile now but its bothering me everyday. i have no mod on this car completely stock 06 cobalt SS/SC. every time i push in the clutch and brake to come to a stop the car will jump from 1200rpm to 300 rpm. at times the car almost dies.

k next thing is that i noticed a noise when i opened my hood to do a check to see if i could fine the idleing problem. and i kept hearing this kind of crackling noise coming from under the supercharger. i dont know whats under there. but i have noticed that the resavior for the coolant for the super, wont stay at the line no matter how many times ive fulled it.

fyi.... checked all hoses no leaks. all hoses r connected to the correct places. and i dont have white smoke. am going to put in a bigger battery here soon cuz the gm batt that came sucks it will barely start the car in weather under 40 degrees lol.

im wondering if it aint the battery that is causing the idling problem but im no expert. please help or give me some what of a clearer idea than mine. lol

Cleaning the throttle body will solve the idle.

Flushing and filling the SC will solve "rattle"

Also, the "crackling" noise from the SC is due to the coupler getting worn. It is normal and continues to get louder the more miles you put on the car. The only way to make the noise stop is to put in a new coupler which means taking the snout off the SC.
