I've had enough.

I have an 08 LS coupe with 37k on it. Bought it in october of 07 so i've had it a year and a half. I have romped the **** outta that thing and the only thing i've had to take it to the dealership for so far is both front lower control arm bushings went bad and now i have the same rattle as I did when those went bad again. SO...two bad lower control arm bushings. And my e brake doesnt click and stay in place anymore from doing drifting in the winter too much. Easy fix..just gotta do it. I dunno...maybe they had a bad day at the assembly plant when they made yours. Hope you get it all fixed and worked out though so you can have a desc car.

You buy just about the least expensive car GM makes and you expect Cadillac quality? Also you're car has a warrenty for a reason. You can't expect to pay for hamburger and get a fillet mignon, make the best of what you got and take it in to be fixed, maybe then you won't feel so bad.

Some of you guys are funny! You take a nice economy car and try to make it go faster then complain aboutt he STOCK brakes not lasting after you beat the **** out of the car and drive it harder then it was intended to EVER be driven! I had my SS for a couple years and NEVER once had an issue with the brakes and I beat the **** outa that car! If you wanna go fast you better be thinking how to make it stop fast! If not and you continue to thrash the factory brakes you have NO ONE but yourselves to blame for them failing.

Its NOT the car thats the fail rather more times then not its the drivers.

I didnt say it wasnt well built or that it rattled, I said it doesnt havbe any higher quality interior than we do, the plastics in that car are just as good/bad as in ours. My Balt doesnt rattle either except for when the rearview mirror was loose. That annoyed the **** out of me for like a a week or three before I figured out what it was.

And no roadnoise? you must be deaf or joking(or not have stock Toyo tires) That thing is noisy as hell. Even a TC has less roadnoise in it. and windnoise at the a-pillars is pretty bad too honestly, my with sticky Contis is quieter than her 3. Only thing her car has that I would want is telescopic sterring.

As far as interior materials, I found the Civic to be along the same route, cheap hard plastics.

The GTi is probably the best of the Sport Compact bunch IMO. But it's slow as ***** lol.

Hate to thread jack but would you happen to have the part number for the pads?

Her car is MUCH quieter than my balt was.. But then again mine was dropped so that may be why i thought hers was quieter.

The GTI is def by far the car with the nicest interior I have ever owned at least.. I love my interior..

Oh and my car is by no means slow as *****.. it may not be able to whoop an SSSC but it has some decent power.

Well fine, it may not be completely slow, but I wanted something a fair bit faster than my Grand Prix GTP when I was looking at a new car, so that pretty much ruled out the Civic Si (which I was just not happy with the overall quality or performance) and the GTi because the performance just wasn't where I wanted it. The MS3 didn't win because no sunroof option plus I'm just not a huge fan of the 5 door design.

As much as my car can annoy me at times, I find if I get too irritated, that'll all go away when I mash the throttle. That always puts a smile on my face :P
