Sounds good.

In reference to one of the questions above:
The PCV tube coming off the intake is in fact positive pressure going into the valve cover, the tube turns towards the filter just inside of the intake. The other PCV tube runs to the turbo and that is where it vents to.

Installed new upstream o2 sensor and reset trims. Immediately shot back to the 16 vicinity. Waiting on new map sensors but I doubt it'll do anything.

I ran the vin through that GM die and got this. I do not know if it has any significance. I have not been able to see a corresponding number on Torque app.

Check the adaptor settings page, it's at the bottom.

I hath installed my HP tuners software and have successfully logged the car on a 22 mile, 40 min drive.

What would be the best way to let y'all take a look at it for anything funky?

Upload the log file somewhere. Hopefully you have the scanner setup with relevant data for the LNF instead of the default stuff.

I used a LNF config I found on the forums.

Here is the log file. I used a LNF config file I found on the LNF tuning guide on the HP forums. If I need to use a different config or change some things let me know. This is the first time I've logged a car so I am extremely new to this software.

HPT isn't exactly user friendly either.

Here is the configuration I use. I'm not sure if everything will work, as some of the PID's require you to add information, but most should hopefully. I'm not sure about transferring the histogram information either. I think all that has to be entered manually.

Anyone taken a look at it?

The pid for boost hasn't been put in yet but my map psi goes over 30 at wot. That and you can really see the trims changing all the time.

I don't have HPTuners and don't have any experience in seeing those statistics.

Did changing the Purge solenoid help any?

When you say config file are you meaning a tune or specific parameters to log?

Also to add, I was showing a friend the car for the first time so I was doing some WOT pulls from a dig as well as rolls. When I was done with that coming home I pulled out of town in 2nd gear and did a WOT pull and the car surged/jerked repeatedly (in mph) I could feel it in my seat. I immediately let off the throttle and put it in neutral.

Freaking gremlins are pissing me off...

Checked the calibration numbers to torque. The first number listed on Torque matched up with the calibration from the GM site. The others did not match anything.

Went to install the new map sensors, got the black orings on the new ones. Took the old ones off (the IM one had a lot of oil residue on it). Filed off the tab on the lower new one so it'd fit. Installed it just fine. Went to install the upper one and it will not line up with the bolt hole. Looking at the old one it appears the metal ring on the inside of the bolt hole was removed to make it fit. Do I have a wacky intake manifold or is this normal?

See picture - new map has metal reinforcing ring on the inside of the bolt hole (which does not allow the new sensor to line up with the intake manifold hole). Old one has had it removed and maybe even filed down a bit.

SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE (at least to me haha)

I read the current tune on the car expecting it to match a stock GMS1 file that was provided to me by a member here.

They do not match.

Several tables such as the MAF base and correction, the torque mgmt, the prop gain s/s, BOV surge limits, and other tables that I am not experienced enough to understand are all different between the two. My torque mgmt table makes no sense as it is now because 1st gear has a back and forth ramp up such as 48, 42, 51, 56, 49, etc. In that order.

Someone want the file to take a look at it?

Here is a screenshot of a couple tables. My car on the left, GMS1 on the right.

Put up a link to the file on your car. Have you compared it to the stock tune (not GMS1)?

My upper MAP fits with the ring still on. It doesn't line up perfectly, but there is enough play it should go on.

Interesting.

I assume you're going to write entire the GMS1 file?
