I get random knock when just cruising, it last for maybe a fraction of a second. I don't know what the deal is, same throttle position, same fuel. I'm leaning towards false knock or just wrongly gapped/fouled plugs. although I did look at the plugs and cleaned them the other day and the seemed fine.

-on a side note, can aftermarket engine mounts prevent false knock in a sense?

- also are the ngk iridiums for our car pretty good compared to the 2 step colder ngk's?

I think I read that aftremarket mount make it worse.

 

its normal to get a little bit of knock like .3 or .4 every so often... i get it sometimes as well

 

how is this normal? I know Traction Control may contribute, but mine is off.. and it happens randomly one time it was 1.7 at steady throttle, I was like wtf?

 

1.7 is a little high.... but like .3 or .4 is normal idk why
