leaking A/C

Since the weather around here has been so hot and humid... I have been using my A/C to the full and all the time basically... Well the other day my buddy notices a drop on his foot and was like.. What's that....

Well I turned my attention to the floor.. To see under the passenger side of the dash was leaking water from a vent or whatever (I didn't investigate under the dash enough to say for sure where it's comin from, just looked under)..

Well my A/C is leaking water all over my floor and mat.. There is condisation the dash when using the A/C.. But I am sure that is normal cause it's so cold.. But I know for a fact that water leaking in my car when using the A/C isn't right...

I mean it builts up pretty quick..

Anyone else have this type of problem?

Sounds pretty normal to me, i'd still have it checked out though

If the air is humid enough, it will condense right inside the car, I have seen air so humid, that when it exited the vents it actually condensed right in mid-air like steam!

I am not taking around the condensation by the vents...

I am talking about the water dripping under my dash.

there is a TSB for this, when I go to the dealership tomorrow, I'll check on it for you. Although, they can find it at the dealership if you take it in.

Funny you mentioned this, I had water in the driverside wheel-well and we read the TSB and were stumped. I pulled the panels off where the fuse panel is and pulled the carpet back on the driver side and stuck my hand under the pad and there was at least 2 inches of water. Seems that I had a hole in my firewall and it allowed water to collect and drain into the wheel-well. It's being fixed and hopefully will be back tomorrow.

Not sure if it's the same thing but we had this happen in our Dodge pickup, The drain pipe for the A/C was clogged and it leaked out water all over the passenger side (in the cabin). they unclogged the drain and it was fine after that.
