lemon law info??

I need as much help/info as possible, I may need to lemon law my car in a not so distant future. my email is: belto_cabj@hotmail.com please send the info there, I will be searching the laws here in PR, I also want to know your experience of the process, was it worth all the trouble, and if you have to, would you do it again.

thanx in advance

i cant use my email right now, but when i was considering this i found out a couple things. you have to have your car in for repair for the SAME thing beyond a reasonable amount of times. this will be about 3 or 4 times. the problem has to pose a serious safety hazard. in my case, it was a phantom coolant leak that was never found. i could have easily lemoned my car since a blown motor is pretty serious potential problem, but instead i worked it out to where i got a totally new motor... supercharger and all.

in order to take this step, you have to fill out some kind of lemon law claim form. the dealer showed it to me in case i did this, but of course i didnt. the lemon law is something you have to fight for since the dealer will do almost anything to avoid buying your car back. dont deal directly with the dealer the whole time. get the direct number to GM and talk to them instead. they were the ones that got me a new motor.

if youre just having continued issues with leaking wiper fluid, a screwed radio, or stuff like that which isnt dangerous, then youre out of luck.

well my car is in right now bc of suspension problems, the shocks/struts have a strange noice, that doesnt go away, this will be the 2 time in for that, before that, the car was in for a week, for a problem with the airbags, and also, some problems with the power window, and an interior leak... there are also a few things more that Im forgetting.. but that is the more important and constant problems

the lemon law could also be for somethign that seriously impacts the value of the car or cause reliability issues...not just safety.
