loosing coolant still

ok, 2006 cobalt ss supercharge.

low coolant showing in the DIC, i have a brand new cilinder head, i dotn see a puddle, bad radiator cap?

im serioulsy lost.

not a stupid question, yes twice.

BUT, i think that test cannot test the cap as the cap IS the valve... because there is no radiator cap technically.. its the only thing left.. lol

Oils clean? I have seen the oil coolers go bad but that usually makes the coolant bottle fill with oil

my new cylinder head was installed by chevrolet, they changed the oil and everything i dont think its the head gasket anymore. i used to tthink it was


where would the heater core be located ill check it

^this. They worked on it so they should have put some sort of warranty on their work and if they didn't fix the problem, they should be responsible for it.

im so exhausted this car has been nothing but nightmares and dealership trips and weeks with no car.

Yes but they still should have a warranty on the cylinder head work which would include coolant leaks. So while they may not fix the problem if you take it back, they are required to at least check into and rule out it's not something they did.

its easy to overlook because it was done by a chevrolet dealer but everyone makes mistakes. if you were losing coolant before and your head went bad or if it was the head then how do you know it still isn't? they will pressure test and ensure its not something major. if its not the head then at least that rules out the most MAJOR problem of them all.
