A lot of different problems with my 2005 Cobalt SS

I've had various different issues with my SS. I'll try to list them here:

1) The leather coming out from under the panel on the passenger side door
2) The paint wearing off the panel on the driver/passenger side door
3) The chrome finish 'peeling' off the drivers side door handle
4) The panel off the top of my shifter came off
5) Misc rattles in the seats and glove compartment
6) Occasionally on right turns, I hear a "tick tick tick tick" sound coming from the rear passenger side. The sound increases its beat as I accelerate. This apparently was caused by rust somewhere on the brakes (I'm not certain of the details of this)

The above issues have been or are being resolved. The following are still outstanding:

7) At about 4500 RPM's I lose all power and my boost gage shoots to over 100 kpa (14.5 psi). Diagnosis...new fuel pump. Waiting for it to arrive.
8) When going over dips in the road, I hear a loud creak sound as the suspension absorbs the dip. Happens all the time and makes the car sound really cheap. They didn't hear the sound last time I took it in...figures.
9) My emergency break light and my high beams light spontaneously come on while drive for no apparent reason. Doesn't happen often...but it does happen.
10) Rattle underneath the car while accelerating...sounds like a heat shield. Service guys can't hear it.

And now the newest problem which started last time they tried to fix the loss of power issue.

11) As I'm accelerating and my boost passes 0 kpa (o psi) I hear almost a buzzing sound as I go faster that matches the pitch of the engine. I have no idea how to explain this better but I want it gone.

The techs at the dealership have been doing a good job...I'm just disappointed about all these problems. We'll see how things go with the unresolved issues. No wonder GM Market share is decreasing if many others are having this type of experience. Can anyone identify with any of these unresolved issues?

this happened in my SS after a month of having it. I took it in and they had to download a fix for it. But no issues since that. the only major issue i have is the damn sunroof rattle.

We had a cobalt ss 05 come into the shop the other day, complaining of the high beams flickering on and off and the light on the cluster would come in. We couldn't get it to happen again, so we had to let it go. About a week later it comes back in, and the high beams won't shut off. I forget what we did to it, I didn't work on it. But we got it fixed in about an hour.

Unfortunately, it's been during the day each time this has happened, so I don't know whether the high beams actually came on or not. I'll have to wait and see if it happens at night. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

it is when they **** something up with the car upon trying to do a simple maintaince request.

they stractched my paint up before, screwed up my wheels on there lifts, left trash in my car etc... you get the point. thats why they are on there but no details aside of it. thats on my problem tracker spread sheet.

Thumbs down 3 cylinders left......

Well I have an 05 ls and I have been having serious power-loss issues with it after I took it for a Sunday drive in the Italian Alps. Finally took into a shop today and was told I was running on 3 cylinders. This sucks because i'm transferring to Germany in less than a month and that's almost how long he said the parts will take to get here. Until then I'm stuck with driving my wife's renault twingo which is just a little bigger than a smart car.
