Low Coolant

Okay, so several times now my display has said "Low Coolant" and I've checked it both when it is running and when it is off and I've even checked the coolant flow and everything is fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

Do you think there is an actual problem with the car?

I have had that happen to me as well, along with several members on here. I don't think it is a serious problem, because my car is running fine and the temps stay between 181 - 185 degrees F. Anymore info. on this would be great though ....

The coolant sensor reads pretty high. If you ever get a LOW COOLANT put like a cup of coolant mix in your main reservoir and it'll go away.

semi new question on topic, my low coolant thing came on, and I added coolant to it because it was just a little low, and now it is back on (less than a week). I didn't notice a leak anywhere but... I guess I'll add a little more and see, maybe I didn't add enough last time somehow even though it was at the mark

theres nothing wrong with the car in the cold the dexcool contracts and it tricks the system into thinking its lower than it really is.

dude! take it to the dealership.. that was happening to me except i was losing coolant due to a flaw in the piping system.. there wasnt enough pressure or something like that. The dealership ordered me a whole new cooling system (OEM of course) with the piping and everything.. and it was under warranty they even expressed ordered the parts and replaced it the following day.
