Need help with ABS!!!

I have an 06 ss/sc. Ever since I got the car the abs light has been intermittent. Usually on when it's really cold outside. Recently it has been in constantly and so I finally scanned it. The code was U2108-00 ( Lost Communications with anti-lock brake system. ) at first I though it was the wheel speed sensor but then once I realized it lost all communications, it must be something more. Id really rather not replace the whole abs module because they're a little pricey, but if it comes to it whatever. Just looking for ideas on where to begin the fix. What to look for, etc. anything will help guys. Thanks for reading! Hopefully someone can help out!

I had issues with my abs and whole traction control system in my lnf. if the abs goes out so does the traction control. blew 2 rear abs sensors. finally I was sick of my abs f-ing up every time my wheels got wet, so I unplugged them sensors on the wheel, siliconed on in the back of the connector where the wires go in, let em dry and hooked it back up, 2 years now and never had the problem again.

yeah at first I thought it was a sensor, but the scan says lost communications. I have no idea as to wether that mean lost communications with a sensor or the whole module and system all together... I don't even know where top begin

Brakes are really not something you want to screw around with on a car, there what makes it stop
