Need help with alternator please

The ground wire on the back of my alternator broke off of whatever it was grounded to and I can't find where it went. Does it really matter what bolt on the motor I connect it to?

Probably not, as long as it's bare and provides a good ground. I I'll check to see if I can see on mine where it grounds
