Need Help with Noise
I noticed some time ago i had a squeeking from my brakes under light braking figured it was just some gravel or something but i washed it and have even had tires changed and they said nothing is wrong with it, took my my god awful shitty as **** dealership and they said nothing was wrong (wasnt surprised), and now its doing it even when im not braking, i washed the car and tried to get in the brakes and it has stopped for the moment seems when they are wet it doesnt do it, im sure it will start up again soon. Any ideas? cause im stumped
The brakes sqeak because they are most likely glazed up.
Do you ride the brakes, repeated light braking will cause this.Try braking a little harder a few times ,by this I dont mean locking them up just heavier than you would normallt brake.
Also if you have ceramic pads your out of luck. The normally do sqeak.
To remove the glazing you can scrub the rotors and pads with 80 grit emery paper until you remove the shine. This should cure the problem for a while or permanently depends on if you ride the brakes or not.

Sounds like you might have a sticking caliper(Not opening far enough when you release the brake) ,or the brake pads are worn out and the squeal tab is indicating this .
You will have to take a good look to be certain .Maybe even remove the wheel to get a good look at them.
