Since you are in a hurry, offhand I think that's right. Last time I changed mine it was a little over 5. Make sure they give you whatever is left.
And next time buy it at Walmart and take it in with you, probably cheaper.

just tryin to help

if you were full with 5, you didn't drain your oil all the way.

just read the book. it tells you how many to put in. i think it's 5 for the 2.4, but the 2.0 is more. maybe 6 or 6.5. don't add more than it tells you, dispite what the dipstick reads.

I always take mine to the dealer... that way it's on the service record for my VIN number... the shop here in Charlotte is good... they know what they are doing.

Yeah, I shouldn't have said anything cause I wasn't sure. Just tried to help cause he was in a hurry. He said they told him 6 and I was agreeing.
I had a 5-quarter last time and I remember that wasn't enough.

And of course I always let it drain for quite a while and change the filter. And it is great that these filters don't trap oil like the upside-down ones on many other engines. Or actually, maybe ours are the ones that are "upside-down"?

Yeah, good deal, just the Mobil 1 normally costs more than that!
