need oil help quick
if its an ss/sc its like 6.5-7.5 its a pretty good amount. just buy 2 gallons like I do and fill it until the dipstick reads right start it left it flow for a second then check it agian, and apply as needed
And next time buy it at Walmart and take it in with you, probably cheaper.
just tryin to help
if you were full with 5, you didn't drain your oil all the way.
Yeah, I shouldn't have said anything cause I wasn't sure. Just tried to help cause he was in a hurry. He said they told him 6 and I was agreeing.
I had a 5-quarter last time and I remember that wasn't enough.
And of course I always let it drain for quite a while and change the filter. And it is great that these filters don't trap oil like the upside-down ones on many other engines. Or actually, maybe ours are the ones that are "upside-down"?
Yeah, good deal, just the Mobil 1 normally costs more than that!
