Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

No boost! Why?!?!

No boost! Why?!?!

im trading my car in so im putting it all back to stock. i took the intercooler and intercooler piping off and put back the stock stuff. i still have the tune and the exhaust on. all the pipes are connected. the sensor and hose on the cold side pipe are connected as well. any suggestions?

so will it not boost at all with the stock stuff on? i figured it would but wouldnt hold up good so i wasnt gonna boost it high i just wanted to see if it would boost at all. and my check engine light came on with the stock parts.

im not a genius or anything, still on stock tune but i would assume that would be the problem

i hear ya. yeah im just not sure. i didnt make my tune so i dont really know what to think. i dont see y it wouldnt boost tho. its only piping

You have a boost leak...the tune would most likely not cause this issue.

how could i find out where its leaking from? i checked all the pipe connections and everything is connected

You will have to do a boost leak test to be certain, even a pin hole leak in a stock coupler can cause an issue.

If it's tuned for the mods and then has stock parts put on ......it should still boost .... the trims might not be right but it wont put it into limp mode.....the downpipe is the only thing you were prolly tuned for that changed. Did you disconnect the battery when you changed the parts? Maybe doing a reset after changing parts may help.

Did you pull the BPV spring by chance ??? I would make sure it didn't damage the diaphragm or is stuck open for some reason

yeah a buddy of mine suggested disconnecting the battery too. i will try that in the morning. no the bpv spring i didnt not touch. but i did upgrade it when i first got the car but i havent had any problems out of that.
