No start... ran out of ideas
No start... ran out of ideas
i just bought a 2005 cobalt ss when i bought the car it had jumped time and bent valves in the head ... i ended up replacing the head and put it in time , it started up but ran rough i pulled the valve cover off to see that it had jumped time again due to a bad tensioner so at this point i did not feel like putting it in time again so i took it to the chevy dealer. after they put it in time and replaced the tensionier the car will not start...also it is getting fuel and spark i also did a compression test on it and it has good compression . im so lost and have ran out of ideas and help would be greatly appreciated

Hmmmm... My suggestion would be, since ur lost and dont know where else to go, double check everything. Make sure uve got no fuel leaks, check and make ur getting spark all the way to the plugs. I would skip the compression test since uve done that once already and u cant really miss an issue there. Other than that idk man. It could be something weird then like stale fuel or a bad ground as someone mentioned. If u still find nothing come back here and we're r going to have to think outside the box.
Not for nothin. Whens the last time u had the car running smooth and normal?
