Pull your SC. I bet you'll find a puddle in your intake mani. I had the same problem with stuttering but its nothing to do with the timing chain tensioner. Mine was my endplate which somehow developed a hole where the cores fit into it. It let coolant get out of the cores and into the intake mani and when I revved past 2.5k it started stuttering really bad and was blowing out clouds of white smoke

It looks like bluebalt07 is giving you some solid advice already, and I don't want to interfere in your plan of action in addressing this issue. However, if you were to decide to work with a dealership on getting this diagnosed (which I understand isn't always the preferred option), please do let me know! I would like to be available to assist as needed.

I had to get a new endplate so I had to pull the intake mani off also but not hard. Just take those off, put the new endplate on and then put it all back on the car and connect everything back up

The Intake mani is really deep. So make sure you get all of
The coolant out I used an old t-shirt and a flat head screw driver
To get deep donne into the intake manifold.

A Few months ago I did the Dual Pass Upgrade,

I might still have my stock endplate arround somewhere pm me if you need it. Its got a peice of hose still glued to it that I couldn't get off. Im sure it could be easily cut off now though.
