yes indeed i have a SS/SC and as for water i would think not cause i only have the air box mod done...But i mean every car is different...Maybe my maf is just went back and when not under a load it freaks out...anyone wanna start pulling things out of a hat that it could be lol

 

The airbox mod will allow you to suck water into the intake...

 

well ya but MANY MANY people have run this "intake" With 0 issues.....but then again every car is different....

 

Try cleaning the throttle body, I did that & mine stopped misfiring for a while.... but then started back up again. I'm going to try cleaning my MAF sensor when I get a chance.

I've heard it could also could be a bad injector that is causing the misfires, is this true?

Well see my fuel filter was kinda gummed up so to speak and when i replaced that the car ran a ton better over all...Thus thinking it could be multi injectors but if the MAF always throws a code then that would make the car run off..i Have cleaned my MAF when i did the fuel filter but the code came back....its funny cause i can erase the code and it will drive normal no code will be throwin but as soon as i sit at an idle for X amount of time it will throw a code...maybe the sensor is just bad...i am gonna take out my injectors tonight and switch them around and reinstall them and see if maybe would help and they arent seating right...Like i said i am up for any suggestions

 

Try running fuel injector cleaner through your tank....

 

already did that and came back...Seafoam?

Took out the injectors....cleaned them up...put them back in and still throws the codes...if the MAF was off wouldnt it limit boost as well?

all is well.....it was the canned tune that came with stage kit...

 

So you got a custom tune then & it fixed the misfiring?

 

Yup, i was spark knockin and what not really bad...So trefica did a tune for me and now all is well, No more issues no more cels
