paint
Has anyone had any problems with there paint getting bad water spots and water runs. I have washed it and waxed it and there was no change and keeps getting worse. Some of the water spots are discolored. It makes it look really bad and not to mention its black, so that doesn't help.
Only way to cure that is to remove the old wax, apply a mild compound until you don't see the water spots and then apply a good quality sealant. (I use Klasse). Then apply your wax. Also when washing never never let the paint go dry or water spots will appear again.
I have found that the best way to get car dry quickly is by using microfiber towels. One to wipe up the water (in sections) and the other to immediately wipe the surface dry. I always follow this with a quick detail using Mothers California Gold Showtime. Keeps the contaminates away.
Following a rain I wet down a microfiber towel, wring it out till damp and go over the car as I do above.
Hope this helps.
