Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

paint runs

hey guys i have had my car for a week now and the second day i got it i looked close and i noticed a bit of runs right at the edges of both doors and a little right in the bottom of the body line at the bottom of the door, i will be takin it in to get smoothed out but my ? is what do they do to fix this?, will they paint the whole doors or just use some sort of compound to smooth it in there any help will be appreciated it, i did search and read about all the related problems but i want to know what the dealership actually does to fix it, thanks

they will end up wet sanding the areas affected and repaint and clear coat it.

If the runs are clear coat they will just wet sand it and buff it out now if it's in the base coat then they will sand it repaint and re clear just blending not the whole door.
