Please Help Me!! My Seats Are Stained!!
ok so i had to go to the city the other day, parked my car, grabbed something from the pharmacy and went to throw the bag in my car, so i dont have to carry it through the city. ends up, the bag was wax paper, with printed ink on it....it was decently sunny out that day, and when i got back the wax had melted, and the blue mixed with the yellow in my seats and made a green stain on my seat, about 2 inches in diameter...****** MOTHER ******....my only hope is to call the bag company and say listen ur bag stained my seats u ******* idiots!! buy me a new one ....please? lol
does any know what i should do? or how i can get it out? i tried wd-40, and nothing!

i take it you have leather correct try using a wet sponge or a microfiber cloth they probally wont work but its a start rubbing achoal works great but test first on a spot where nobody will see it you could also try leather wipes you can get leather wipes at any auto store
ok this next step works great tooo you may laugh but it works great trust me
Spray the affected area with hairspray, then wipe it off with a clean cloth
also a new product out i have heard works great called Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

Its my mothers advice, so bear with me...
Find a playboy, and the best pic inside, and put it FACE DOWn on the seat... Then, leave your car in the sun for about 10 hours.... hey a naked chic sure beats some words, right?

That sucks, good luck with getting it out, I keep a small box of shout wipes in the glovebox, but I have the grey sport cloth. I bought them at the supermarket in the laundry detergent isle.
they worked for me ,even got out some grease on my door cloth section from the service guy on my last service.whatever you do make sure its safe for the leather, maybe a leather coat cleaner/protector from wilsons leather or something along those lines.

I had a similar problem with my White Vinyl on my boat seats & soft scrub did the job as it has mild bleach & a low grade scrubing compound in it & it took all but 10% of it out & as I went boating more & more the sun bleached the rest of it out as it was red on a whited vinyl.
I worked it in the stained area & rubbed in a circlular gently & then be sure to clean it with water to get all the soft crub off!
I want to say this was vinyl NOT Leather so use caution but the way I see it what do you have to lose
I have also used a typed of bug & tar remover on leather as my leather coat was setting at a friends house & he was painting & it happened to get a blob of paint on it in about a 4 inch area & I had forgot the coat & the next week he called me with the bad news but the Bug & tar remover did the job & then I used a leather conditioner to make sure it didn't dry out the leather as I kept putting the conditioner on for a few dasy after to insure I didn't make the leather to dry & britlte.
I want to say these are sugestions & I in no way guarentee these to work but they have been used by me!

thanks a lot guys for all your help, i noticed today that from all of the asses(hey look at that a pun on words
) that have been sitting beside me, the green is starting to wear out...so i think slowly within the next month or so it should fade enough until its not noticable.....im afraid to take the yellow color out of the seat with the ink stain, bc keep in mind the ink was blue....but my stain is green...so if im getting the green out, thats partially the yellow from my seats
but again i appreciate all of the help every1 offered, i might actually try some of those
any suggestions for a playboy girl for my seats?? haha

If the bag was wax and heat made it melt then use heat to unmelt it. Try a wet steaming hot wash cloth.
If you spill wax on carpet you can lay down a wet towel and use an iron on top of that to pull the wax out. Same theory but obviously an iron would be a bad idea on your leather seats.

****** CHEAP BAGS!!! i was gonna call the company to complain that they have a shitty product but luckily the stain is slowly disappearing, not sure how or why....but idk i just want it out....at this point it looks like a dull discoloration....which to me, judging by the way it was, is just about perfect now
but i definitely appreciate all your help, you guys, & girls

Been there done that. Here's what worked for me. Get a clean cloth and soak it in water. Ring out until damp. Get an iron and set to cottons. Place damp cloth on fabric and rub iron over cloth and affected area for 15 seconds. Let cloth cool for 15 seconds and the wax/print should adhere to the cloth. If not then try again. No chemicals and it really works.
Good luck
