Power Windows/Side Mirrors/Lock Button Not Working
Power Windows/Side Mirrors/Lock Button Not Working
I had the door on my 2007 cobalt replaced because someone blew a stop sign and hit it. But now I can’t adjust my side mirrors, lock or unlock the doors, or roll the windows down (window issue is on all doors). I also cannot hear the clicking noise when the turn signal is on (not that that is a big issue). I’ve tested the fuse for the power window and it works fine.
When I turn the ignition to “ACC”, I can adjust the side mirrors and unlock/lock the doors, but the motors for all windows just makes a noise and don’t do anything. When I actually turn the key all the way, none of these things work.
Not sure if it’s relevant but the radio and wipers work fine.
What could the problem be, and is it something I’m able to fix with little car experience or should I just take it back to the body shop?
Thanks!

I am having the same issue with my turn signals not clicking lol.
I have no idea what could be causing your issue(s), though if work was just done- I would advise taking it back to the shop an explaining the symptoms. Assuming everything worked before the door was replaced it is not unreasonable to assume it was something they did (or didn't do) during the repair.
Hope you get it fixed. I know those are all cosmetic issues but they can be the most annoying.
