Q for those with HIDs.

I have a set of 10k on my headlights and in my fogs, However just recently my driver side headlight started a constant flickering, its really weir is like it keeps turning on and off constantly like really really fast, I have turn it off for a few seconds and then back on it wont happen for a lil bit but it always comes back, does this mean my bulb has gone foul or what. Im pissed. everytime I get closer to boosting 20lbs, something breaks. whats do you guys think this is.

i think you should get a set of 4300k HID's. 10000k is just rediculous. hope you don't drive in the nighttime when it rains.

check to see all the conections are tight.

hmmm....to me it sounds like the ballist inst geting good power any more.

when a HID bulb goes bad it wont flicker...it'll simply blow out upon start up when the voltige is higher(had it happen to me)....i would go around and check all your wireing...then contact who ever you got them from and see if you might be able to get an answer from them...maybe replace the ballist???

might also want to check your ground wire. it could be your ballast though. if you can, switch out your ballast and see if it does the same thing on the other side.

Update. I temporarly fixed the problem by turning off and back on the headlights. Now it doesnt flicker anymore but it turned freaking weak green! it looks soo uneven, one of them is weak green and the other one a powerful blue. WHAT NOW

sounds like the ballast, do you have them wired to the stock harness or thru a seperate relay harness?
