question for 2.4(automatic) SS guys
Just curious has anyones TC and ABS lights pop on every once and awhile after hitting bumps? Then afterwards the transmission would shift really hard? Mine does it everyonce and a while I'm gonna take it to school and put it on a lift and check if the sensors are loose and if its not that then I'll take it to the dealer. I went to the dealer one time and they were crying about the calipers being painted and said if the sensor is covered in paint its not warrantied. Then I told him if thats the reason then it would the light would be on constantly and he shut up. So.... Has anyone taken theres to the dealer for this reason?

What an absolute moron your service guy is though. The sensor is sealed so water can't get in, how in the hell does thick paint get in?

It may not be your trans. There is a TSB for a gauge cluster reflash to correct an intermittent brake light actuation. I had it done. My brake annunciator would quickly flash every now and then, and all they had to do was upgrade the software.
same here with the T/C but it comes on when i crank the car and stays on until i turn it off i cranked it back up and the light came on like normal and went out like it should but thats been bout 3 weeks ago and aint had a prob since im gonna take my car to the dealer anyways just b/c the CD player is screwin up all my CD's and im bout to check to see if theres a warranty on the CDplayer
