Removing Pulley Belt

Alright guys I am trying to remove my pulley belt but cannot seem to get the tensioner to move down. I think the shock is frozen to be honest. I have tried using a 15mm wrench on the top of the tensioner and the T50 torx socket to move the tensioner but no luck. Any tips or other ways to remove the belt?

If you're replacing it.. just cut it off and maybe the tensioner will jar enough to move freely again, or replace it with the belt

The tensioner shock does not compress an inch. I am replacing the belt and taking the supercharger off for service/smaller pulley. Should I remove the shock or is that a ton of work?

When mine was frozen i unbolted the supercharger and lifted the throttle body side up enough to slip the belt off.

Try using a pry bar to force the pulley down. I can't think of how I did it without the car in front of me. But I had a sticky tensioner and got it to work using a pry bar.

I had this exact same issue. ended up getting it to work with a breaker bar and the t50.
