Replacing Thermostat Yearly?

I am finding my car (2005 SS/SC) don't like aftermarket Thermostats I have replaced mine every year about this time for the last 4 years. I bought a AutoZone lifetime thermostat and the dam rubber inside the stat goes bad and I can't get up to temp.

I've owned this car since new the factory stat lasted 5 years no problems and once I put the AutoZone one in it's been a yearly task, AutoZone will replace it under there warranty but it's getting old so I'm going OEM from Engine Depot to see how it works out.

I posted to see if anyone else has had this issue, This make me mad as I just replaced my clutch and it would of been so much easer to replace the stat then Go figure!

There is a good write up about thermostats on here.

This works for the LSJ.
