my res is broken inside and makes some sweet ricer rattles. im looking to replace it, my question is what size and brand is good. the resonator on there now is from a magnaflow 2.25. it looks like it might be hard to weld because the res starts right next to the flange conecting the down pipe, so i need one similar to the one on the magnaflow.

I have a custom exhaust with 2.25 and I had the res removed, so far I have had no problems and the shop I got it done at said I shouldn't have any problems.
