Went to my muffler shop to complain about a rattle in the exhaust, thought it was leaking. Turns out my cat is bad, my expensive ass random technology cat/downpipe.

So what should I do now, I have contacted RT and they want to have me either send it in, and if they warranty it...IF...they will send me a new one. OR I can purchase a new one, send my old one back, and MAYBE get a refund. Which i can't afford and I don't want to put more debt on my credit card.

I don't have my stock downpipe, so option two would be the only one...Or i could say **** it and punch out my expensive ass cat.

this sucks.

Why dont you buy a stock dp off someone then send it back to get fixed or whatever

 

the stock downpipe won't bolt up to my custom exhaust since I used a 3" flange.

 

HAHAHA 400 dollars and it goes bad, told you *******......cut the cat off and go custom again.... you got the spacer so go straight


btw i have his stock downpipe and i dont have a spare so hes fucked there

 

go catless.... i had this happen to my zzp dp with magnaflow cat.. i ended up jsut putting my stock stuff back on... oh well.. its all good now...

why do you want/need a cat... emissions?
