SC bypass

Im trying to figure out what is sticking. The butterfly in the sc or the bypass valve its self. I removed the bypass and it moves freely. I sprayed some dry lube on the butterfly for the waste gate. it moved freely. took for a test drive and now the darn thing is stuck open again. anyone else have this problem.

Probably the bypass actuator, they do fail from time to time.

Have you pulled the blower and cleaned the bore for the bypass valve blade?

No I have not. plan to do so Friday or Saturday. Got to call and get gaskets. The blade or "butterfly" is sticking without the bypass valve even on the car.

Is this something that happens on our cars

Oh I thought you meant the actuator was sticking. There must be some buildup in the blower for it to be sticking, take everything out and clean it up. You can remove that little blade and clean the bore if needed.
