Spring rattle in rear

I have a 08 Cobalt that has a rattle in the rear. From the dealership that I bought it from they said that it is the coil spring insulators that are bad. They look pretty torn up. Does anybody know if this will cause it to rattle?

Make sure you mark the way the springs came out so you don't put them in upside down.

Mine rattles pretty good. The circular part if the insulator is really torn up. The nipple part looks to still be OK.
