stage 1 info?
stage 1 info?
I have a 2006 Cobalt SS. its stock totally, and it R o c k s.
im purchasing a stage 1 kit soon. (Injectors, and an engine recalibration, for reference:part number 17801947 on gmpartsdirect.com)
I am perhaps the least mechanical member of this forum. I don't even own a socket set...lol
the Stage 1 kit is the only performance mod I am going to do to the car, so I understand the limitations it puts me under for future mods. But, since im not doing any future mods, ill be ok with that...
My question for everyone is:
when I go to the Dealer to have the Stage 1 kit installed, what is the shop time required to do it?? I understand the actual cost will vary, depending on the dealer...I'm just interested in the shop time.

It takes them about an hour to install GMS1.
I had GMS1 on my car for about a year when I first purchased my car new back in 07'.
It's ok, and gives the car a little extra spunk.
