Steering knock after suspension work

Hey gang just changed out my struts/springs from original to KYB. I also changed the stabilizer links as they wouldn't come off the old struts and had to cut them. I also put Powerstop brakes on the front. Now I have a knocking sound when I turn the wheel......both ways left and right. It's a 2007 SS and 2.4, 108,000 miles. Any ideas?

Check the u-joint on your steering rack/intermediate shaft. These things are known to rust.
Otherwise, it could also be the tierods need to be replaced.
