Steering Wheel Replacement?

Has anyone done this before? My 07 SS S/C's leather is falling apart on the wheel.

Is the wheel something that can be easily replaced?

Nice, thanks.

I think I'm going to have RedlineGoods reupholster the wheel, or buy a used one if I can find one in good shape.

Anyone know if I can buy this and then swap the right side buttons onto it?

Yes but you'll also have to swap the steering wheel harnesses. The one you linked to won't have a switch connector on the right side

Would that be plug and play or would I have to splice and dice? Any idea?

You should just be able to switch them out. You may have to remove the horn mount with it. Not sure if there is a disconnect in there for the horn. But you should be able to take your harness and switches and move them to the new wheel.

I replaced the wheel today. I used the how to and a YouTube video as a guide.

Seriously the easiest repair I've ever done on this car. I couldn't believe how plug and play everything was. Now I have a mint leather wheel that cost $50 shipped instead of the deteriorated ripped stock leather wheel. So stoked.

I used griots cleaner and conditioner as soon as I put it in, and did the seats front and back as well as the shifter and the door skins. So happy lol.
