strange noise

it is coming from the driver side rear tire area, sounds like metal on metal sometimes it is really loud, sometimes it isn't. sometimes it is there, sometimes it isn't. it was really loud at the start of the day, then it just vanished. im sure it will be back as always, but it seems to go away as the car slows down also. any one heard of something like this?

Check that the brake line isnt rubbing on the tire. My clip came off my line on my back tire and gave me a really weird noise from the rear tire area.
