My S/C knocks! It is not a constant thing but this is when it usually happens:
I drive the car around enough for the engine to be plenty warm enough, I shut it off for about 20 minutes or so, and about 5 minutes after I start the car back up, once the engine gets warmed up again, the S/C starts knocking.. It will knock for about 5 minutes or so, and then stop. It sounds like bad bearings to me, i know thats more than likely not it since its not constant, but that is about the only thing i can compare the sound to. And I when you put your hand on the S/C you can feal it knocking, so I know that is where it is coming from. Any ideas/others with this problem?

Car is completly stock....

 

SC balancer is going bad.....Sound like rocks inside?

 

lucky for your the average price of a m62 supercharger is around 250 to 300 bucks.

If you if you have no mods then yes...If not i know there is site that sells them, I would go to the dealr 1st and see that they say and go from that, I wouldnt see why it is not coverd
