supercharger rattling at idle

after my car is warmed up, at idle there is a loud rattling noise that is heard from inside the car. At first it sounded like a loose exhaust to me. I opened the hood and it is coming from the supercharger housing. it sounds to me like bad bearings. it only does it at idle though. you give it alittle bit of gas and it goes away from what i can tell. and also in second gear it seems to bog out up to about 2800-3000 rpm or until boost kicks in then it runs like it should. I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems? and if something is wrong, is it covered under waranty?

does it only do it when it's cold at idle? If so thats normal for our belts to make that noise. It goes away once your coolant temps reach roughly 95+ degrees.

Do you have a different pulley on? If so check your bolts, they may be loose. My friend didnt get his tightened up all the way and it rattled.

no it does it well after the car is warmed up. and its not coming from the belts, it coming from inside the blower housing.

Just go to the dealership... warranty is your friend.

Second gear bogs out below that because you aren't making enough horsepower to spin the blower and go fast yet.
