I don't understand why this guy had to replace his three times.
1- factory
2- 1st replacement
3- 2nd replacement
4- 3rd replacement

isn't the definition of insanity doing something over and over expecting different results?

what the F? Canada thing?

From what I've read 05-07 all have this problem. The tensioner is very easy to change though, I haven't done mine yet but I will be very soon and you basically take the valve cover off, take the old one out, put the new one in and put the vc back on.

when i unscrew the old tensioner do i have to worry bout anything falling down in the motor? I read the how-to but think that was on the old tensioner. i bought the new revised one. Thanks guys.

I wish I would have known about this problem sooner. Mine got stuck open. So far its cost me $700 and I'm not even done yet.
