Tire noise or something worse?
Recently, I've been having an almost roaring noise develop over the last thousand or so miles. It's most noticeable at 40mph and over. I took a video that you can sort of hear it in. It kinda sounds like tire noise but I'm not so sure. I've had these tires on since the spring and this has only started recently.

What do you guys think this is? From the tires? Possibly a wheel bearing or something like that? I know for sure that it's coming from the passenger side.

I had that same sound coming from my car at 45mph+, when I first got a chance I looked and had broken off two lug studs completely. I'm still not sure if the sound caused the studs to break or if I heard the sound because they had broken. I don't hear it anymore now that I have fixed them, but it might be worth while just to make sure everything you can get at is tight with a wrench.

Dude...I'm searching on the forum today because of the same issue!! I thought it was my tires, so I went and got them balanced and had the same issue. The tread was still good since I got new tires like a month ago.

You say that is coming from your right side? Do you have any lights coming on, like the Traction Control or ESC? Do you have any shake in the wheel?
Mine had the lights, with a very small hum that I could hear with the windows down. They had to replace the right hub assembly due to the wheel bearing and speed sensor. I only had the car for a few months when this happened to me.
It does sound like a wheel bearing going, so I would have them check it one day when you are at work.
At first that sounded like old rumble strips!!

I've got 22k miles on my car. No vibrations or lights on at all, just a really irritating humming noise. It's getting checked out Thursday when I get my new brakes installed.
